The first soviet serial all-metal fightr in which development P. O. Sukhoy took part. The airplane was serially produced from 1928 to 1934. The armaments consisted of two 7,62 machineguns. ANT-5 is one of the best fighter of the thirties. The airplane was used in the civil war in Spain within 1936-1939.
