| Air Berlin has one of the youngest fleets in Europe. The backbone of this fleet is now the Boeing 737-800. It has been built since 1998 and is the latest variant of the Boeing 737, one of the safest and most successful commercial aircraft in the world. The model 800 offers accommodation for 184 passengers.
