| The Yamaha Racing Team will be starting this coming 2004 season with the most sought-after and best-loved rider in Moto GP, Valentino Rossi. Flanking him will be team-mate Carlos Checa, a long-standing Yamaha loyalist whose contribution to the development of the M1 has been crucial. The team, managed by L. Jarvis, thus has its sights firmly set on both the riders’ and manufacturers’ world championship titles. To provide essential trackside assistance throughout the championship the Team will be making use of those ubiquitous, must-have trailers, towed by heavy-duty VOLVO FH12 tractor units. The box also includes an assembled metal and plastic 1:24 scale model of V. Rossi’s Yamaha M1.
