Each Hangar 9 Sure-Glow Glow Driver features a durable red anodized aluminum case, so you’ll be able to spot it quickly, no matter where you are. With the contoured Comfort-Grip™ finger clip, installing and remov-ing the Sure-Glow is easy and virtually slip proof. Rest assured that the Sure-Glow will attach securely around the body of the glow plug until you remove it with its Sure-Lock™ glow plug attachment. With a built-in meter, you can easily see if the Sure-Glow is working when attached to the glow plug. If the meter gives no response, you’ll know that you have either a bad glow plug or a low battery.
The Sure-Glows are available in two different styles. You can choose from a model that operates on either a “C” alkaline battery or an included Sanyo® sub-C NiCd battery. For everyday use, the NiCd version is rechargeable, allowing for a lower cost of operation. For those long weekends of flying when you won’t have access to a charger, the alkaline version is ideal and can also be used as a quick backup glow driver to a NiCd version. Both styles offer a threaded body for easy replacement of the battery.
