| Like most ready-to-fly planes, Hangar 9’s fantastic looking Piper J-3 Cub 40 PNP™ requires no building, gluing or fiddling with servos and linkages. Everything is preinstalled except the receiver. This makes it possible for your customers to use a radio they already have or choose exactly the system they want to fly with. About all they have left to do is attach a prop of their choice and plug in their system’s receiver. A standard ARF version (HAN-4025) is also available for those who want to choose their own servos and engine as well.
The Piper J-3 Cub was the most popular commercial aircraft of the 1930’s. Barely seven yards long and instantly recognizable in its yellow-and-black paint scheme, this nostalgic favorite became the foremost trainer of the era, eventually training 80% of the United States’ military pilots by the end of World War II. A new Cub was rolling off the assembly line nearly every 20 minutes, and many of these beloved airplanes are still around today.
Hangar 9’s latest Plug-N-Play™ marvel is the Piper J-3 Cub 40 PNP, which is ready to fly almost right from the box using whatever radio the pilot chooses. Everything, except for a transmitter, receiver and prop, is installed at the factory, including an Evolution® .46NT engine, universal servos, extensions and control linkages. Hangar 9’s Plug-N-Play line provides the excitement of flying a classic airplane without the chore of building and gluing.
